Dr. Catherine Morrow
Dr. Morrow grew up on a small hobby farm outside of Pittsburgh, PA. Surrounded by animals her whole life, becoming a veterinarian was her childhood dream. She went Allegheny College for her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and then graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2009.
After graduation Dr. Morrow moved to the Pacific Northwest and has been practicing in the area since that time. Her special areas of interest include surgery, internal medicine and cardiology. She enjoys getting to know her clients and understands the important role pets have in a home. She is very excited to join the University Place team.
Outside of work, Dr. Morrow enjoys kayaking, supporting the Seattle Sounders and spending time with her Australian Shepherd Eddie.
Dr. Paulette Santonacita
Dr. Paulette grew up on a 7 acre farmette in Marengo, Illinois where she enjoyed caring for a variety of animals ranging from hamsters to cows. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences as well as her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois.
After vet school, Dr. Paulette followed her love of the outdoors and relocated to the Pacific Northwest. She joined the University Place Veterinary Hospital team in July 2016 and is very excited to be part of such a wonderful team! Her special interests include small mammal exotic medicine, reptile medicine, preventative medicine and internal medicine.
In her free time, Dr. Paulette enjoys rock climbing, hiking, kayaking, jigsaw puzzles, and spending time with friends. But most of all, Dr. Paulette enjoys spending time with her rabbit Tilly, cat Lenni, and three snakes.
Bridgette grew up always knowing she wanted to work with animals and started working in the Veterinary Field in 2002 were she started out as a kennel assistant and continued to grow within the hospital and its many positions. She decided to go to school to become a Veterinary Technician, and graduated from Pierce College with a degree in Veterinary Technology and then obtained her Veterinary Technician License in 2007. In April 2018 she received her Fear Free Certification to help make visiting the veterinary hospital less stressful on the pets.
She joined the University Veterinary Hospital team as the Hospital Manager in August 2018 and is very excited to have the opportunity to work with such a great team.
In her personal life Bridgette likes to spend time with her family, husband Ryan, daughter Peyton and son Parker. She also has six pets, four cats (Thomas, Jasmine, Marty McMittens and Elliot) and two Golden Retrievers Moose and Dodger. In her free time, she also enjoys crocheting.
Licensed Vet Technician
Jazzlyn is a licensed veterinary technician who received her license in the spring of 2016. She has 2 crazy dogs at home (Milo, a 2 year old lab mix and Buddy, an energetic heeler/shepherd puppy). She has a particular interest in animal behavior and how it relates to veterinary medicine. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, walking her dogs, staying up to read a good book and most importantly spending time with her 1 year old daughter, Alexis Rose!
Angelica is a veterinary assistant who joined our practice in April 2018. She has 1 chocolate lab and enjoys taking him on adventurous trails around the Pacific Northwest. Outside of work she also enjoys baking and has shared many delicious goodies with her coworkers!
Licensed Vet Technician
Jennifer joined our hospital in February 2018. She graduated from Pierce College and obtained her Veterinary Technician License in August 2019. She has pet rats, 1 beagle and 1 malamute mix. Outside of work she enjoys hiking in the Olympic National Park and North Cascades.
Briana is a veterinary receptionist who previously worked as a licensed massage therapist and is now learning the veterinary field. She has 2 dogs (Watson and Koda), 1 cat (Nala) and a Russian tortoise (Edward Torton). When she isn’t at work, she has her hands full with her 4 kids at home!
Maritza joined our practice in May 2018. She has 2 rescue dogs, 1 Savannah Cat, 1 snake and a Bearded dragon. Outside of work she likes to eat, travel and relax with her animals.
